Lee Valley Regional Park Authority is launching a brand new consultation offering people a once in a lifetime opportunity to have a say on the future of London’s only 26 mile, 10,000 acre park. This unique opportunity offers stakeholders, colleagues, visitors and users the chance to tell us how they feel about the Park and what they think the future should hold for the only Parkland resource crossing London, Herts and Essex.
We are actively seeking people’s opinions on the Park’s environmental infrastructure and landscape and heritage, alongside people’s views on the Park’s engagement in social and community activities, views on our biodiversity progress, our sport and recreation developments and of course, what users think of the Park’s visitor infrastructure.
We believe that if people are passionate about parklands, sporting opportunities and the natural environment then they will be passionate about the future development of London’s only mosaic of beautiful urban and rural parklands. There will be a web based consultation launched on 23 November 2009; if you would like to be involved in this once in a lifetime opportunity to tell us what you think, please register your interest with Rob Cairns
