The Planning team fulfils the Authority’s role as a statutory consultee on planning applications and strategies referred from local planning authorities and other stakeholders. This has recently included the planning applications for the Olympic and Paralympic Games, Stratford City and major development proposals on sites in the Lower Lee Valley.
The team also comments on regional and sub regional strategies and the emerging local development frameworks and submits applications for various schemes for the Authority.
