Quest

What is Quest?

Quest is a tool for continuous improvement, designed primarily for the management of leisure facilities and leisure development. Quest defines industry standards and good practice and encourages their ongoing development and delivery within a customer focused management framework.

Although initially designed for the sports and leisure industry, the good practice is flexible enough to relate to all cultural activities.
Each of the areas identified above has both a self-assessment improvement programme, and the opportunity for an independent external assessment.

Who runs Quest?

The scheme is managed by Right Directions in partnership with Leisure-net Solutions under contract to the home country sports councils.

Quest at Lee Valley Park

The following venues have Quest accreditation at Lee Valley Regional Park

  • Lee Valley Athletics Centre First achieved QUEST accreditation in December 2007 with a score of 81%. With changes to the way the Quest scheme is formatted, the site is now in the banding of Excellent.
  • Lee Valley Riding Centre. First achieved QUEST accreditation in March 2006 with a score of 66%. With changes to the way the Quest scheme is formatted, the site is now in the banding of Excellent.
  • Lee Valley Ice Centre. First achieved QUEST accreditation in June 2008 with a score of 76%. With changes to the way the Quest scheme is formatted, the site is now in the banding of Excellent.
