Lee Valley Leisure Pool

Broxbourne Leisure Pool has been closed to the pu blic since 28 September 2008. Our building contractors, SQUIBB, will commence demolition work on the site on the 21 September 2009.

We aim to ensure that the future development of the site continues to reflect the sporting and open space objectives of Lee Valley Regional Park .

The demolition should be completed by December 2009 and then a programme of landscaping work will take place until March 2010. We will be working closely with SQUIBB to ensure the area is secure and safe during this period. We are keen to minimise local inconvenience and disruption and we will ensure you are kept fully informed of developments via this page.

Public access to the car park remains as it is currently, with Broxbourne Council managing this. The demolition will not cause traffic congestion in the surrounding area and SQUIBB will work hard to reduce unnecessary noise pollution – work will only be carried out Monday to Friday, 8am-6pm.
