Species
Good head of mixed coarse fish, particularly Chub up to 6lb, Bream up to 11lb, Carp from double figures up to 32lb, Tench, Barbel, Roach and Pike.
Hotspots
The large Chub and Bream are regularly found just below the David Stoker Sluice. This area is particularly worth a try during the warmer months. The Carp will move all along the Channel so a mobile approach will score well.
Tips
General methods work well; fishing a waggler along the far bank can produce good size Chub and Roach. The inside line will take a number of small Roach and Perch. Occasional shoals of Bream within the channel can produce large bags. Try fishing the waggler mid-channel until the fish show, then switch to the bomb.
Restrictions
Three rods per angler. Poles are prohibited on this fishery. No fishing from the Eastern bank of the Flood Relief Channel (Highbridge Street Disabled Site) with this permit.
