General Information

Lee Valley Park Farms offers a unique visitor experience and is nestled in the middle of River Lee Country Park, Waltham Abbey.

Hayes Hill Farm is a traditional style farm set on a 17 acre site. The farm was opened by the Duke of Edinburgh in 1976 and was, at the time, the first farm in the area to open to the general public.

There are a variety of different animals to meet:-

In the farmyard you can meet ‘Tallulah the Tamworth’ and ‘Barbara the Berkshire’ pigs or see what Ella and Eve the Saanen Goats are up to.

In the Pet Centre meet tiny mice, slimey snails or just sit back and relax watching ' Newton' the Bearded Dragon sunbathe.
Mini TractorTake time out from the animals to play in the tractor barn, where you can ride on mini tractors, dig in ‘The Pit’ or play in the adventure play area.

Why not explore our newest attraction the Bundle Barn? Our new indoor soft play area means you can moo like a cow as you whizz down our big cow slide or dive into Bundle Barnthe ball pools, while Mum and Dad relax with a cup of tea or coffee.

There are also many picnic areas to sit and recharge with a picnic or why not let us make your lunch and sample the delicious food in The Orchard Café we use lots of Locally sourced produce.

You can take a stroll or a tractor and trailer ride (Weekends & School Holidays only) to Holyfield Hall Farm, our modern dairy and arable farm. You can visit the milking parlour to see the cows being milked and learn about the process of making dairy products.

The Farms also offer group bookings, school visits and a range of birthday parties. Enjoy a party with a difference and meet the cuddly animals with your party host, take a tractor and trailer ride to watch the cows being milked and then enjoy freshly prepared party food.
