Enjoy one of our activity trails at Lee Valley Park Farms
Lee Valley Park Farms offers a unique visitor experience and is nestled in the middle of River Lee Country Park, Waltham Abbey.
Hayes Hill Farm is a traditional style farm set on a 17 acre site. The farm was opened by the Duke of Edinburgh in 1976 and was, at the time, the first farm in the area to open to the general public.
There are a variety of different animals to meet including pigs, goats, chickens and rare breed farm animals, as well as our Pet Centre which houses small mammals and reptiles.

In the farmyard you can meet ‘Tallulah the Tamworth’ and ‘Barbara the Berkshire’ pigs and see what Tinkerbell and Maurice the Golden Guernsey Goats are up to. In the spring come and see the new spring lambs and piglets.
The Farm is also home to smaller animals. Cuddle the rabbits and Guinea Pigs, see how many mice you can spot or sunbathe with Newton the Bearded Dragon.

Take time out from the animals to play in the tractor barn, where you can ride on mini tractors, dig in ‘The Pit’ or play in the adventure play area. Have something to eat in the picnic area or have some delicious food in our newly refurbished café.
You can take a stroll or a tractor and trailer ride to Holyfield Hall Farm, a modern diary and arable farm. You can visit the milking parlour to see the cows being milked and learn about the process of making dairy products.
The Farms also offer group bookings, school visits and birthday parties. Enjoy a party with a difference and meet the cuddly animals with your party host, take a tractor and trailer ride to watch the cows being milked and then enjoy freshly prepared party food.
