School trips

The visitor farm has over 200 farm animals including rare breeds, llamas and even reptiles, whilst our working dairy farm will give you an insight into modern day farming techniques and the production of milk for the supermarket shelf. We are well equipped for school visits with coach parking, an indoor picnic barn, toilets and hand washing facilities.
 
Self guided farm tours
 
You can take a self guided tour of the farms at anytime during our open period (February - October). Self guided tours of the farms are free when booked with one of the below Field to Fridge or Focus on Dairy Farming Farm Tours. If booked separately £4.30 per person for groups of 15 or more. For groups under 15 normal farm entrance rates apply.

Youth and Schools farm tours
 
Lee Valley Regional Park's dedicated Youth and Schools Service offers a wide variety of educational programmes and assists in utilizing the Regional Park as an educational resource. Primary Schools - Field to fridge farm tour
Key Subjects: SCIENCE, GEOGRAPHY, CITIZENSHIP
Description: This guided tour of a working dairy farm (Holyfield Hall) encourages groups to consider the origin of products in their fridges and cupboards. How does milk get from the cow to the supermarket shelf? What’s the farm doing to help Lee Valley wildlife? (Students may be able to watch our cows being milked, please enquire at time of booking.)
