Management Plans for Myddelton House Gardens

Myddelton House Gardens has a number of plans developed for its conservation and management. These plans are documents which detail how we will manage the site taking into account the heritage and conservation status of the site.

They can be downloaded from this page and comments on the proposals and development of the gardens are always welcome.

The Conservation Management Plan 1 (CMP1) consists of three documents and these should all be read in conjunction with each other.

The Conservation Management Plan 2 was written in 2006 and updated in January 2008. This pulls together the project proposals from the CMP1 and helps to inform the management plan for the site.

The Site Management Plan is a working document which details and summarises the CMP documents and brings the whole thing together in a five year and annual work plan. This document also includes the Marketing Plan and specific details about the site location, size and accessibility.
