Hooks Marsh Car Park Closure from 14th December 2009

Highbridhe Street Car Park

The car park at Highbridge Street will be permanently closed for the construction of the White Water Canoe Centre from 6th May 2009.

Cranham Hide

On the evening of 7th August 2008, the Cranham Hide was burnt down by vandals. A decision has not yet been made on what to replace this with, however, the nearby new Grand Weir Hide is now open and provides fantastic views across the Goosefield and Holyfield Lake.

Gunpowder Park safety works

Updated 23rd April 2009:

The site investigation work at Gunpowder Park has now been completed and the majority of the fencing has been removed. There are still a few areas with fencing around specific points that need further investigation.
