The Lee Valley Boat Centre is situated in the centre of Lee Valley Regional Park. In a week you can cruise into London and on the tidal Thames on one of the centre's narrow boats. In just an hour you can use our electric pleasure craft for a tranquil trip up the river.
Longer trips will link with the Grand Union Canal and the whole UK waterways network. If you are looking just to enjoy the tranquility of waterborne travel, the Lee Valley Boat Centre offers you all you could possibly want.
The Boat Centre has a long history on the site, having been acquired by Lee Valley Regional Park Authority in 1973 and having a strong local area image. The centre is now franchised to the current management who have many years experience in running and maintaining boats of all sizes and descriptions. As well as a wide range of self drive small boats, the centre provides access to a variety of narrow boats. These have been used in the past for transporting goods up and down the waterways of Britain, but are now comfortably fitted out for cruising and providing a base for exploring the Lee Valley region.
In addition, there are 2 large passenger boats which are used for organised pleasure trips such as wedding receptions, birthday parties and staff training days. The staff at the Boat Centre are happy to discuss your requirements with you.
There is a wide variety of boats available for you to enjoy the calm and tranquil waters around the Broxbourne area and further a field.
