These new Centres will join the other regional sports venues the Authority runs to add to the chain of sporting excellence along the 26 mile long, 10,000 acre Lee Valley Regional Park.
 
Since the Park was established in 1966 our aim has been to provide quality open spaces and leisure facilities for the people of London, Essex and Hertfordshire – and further afield – to enjoy, which is why we're playing a key role in the planning of London 2012 Games venues and are actively involved in legacy master-planning work.
 
We've decades of experience of running outstanding parklands and first rate sporting venues – three of the four British track and field medalists at Beijing train at our Lee Valley Athletics Centre. We know how to blend the elements needed to help top class athletes achieve greatness, with the types of community usage which makes venues come alive.
Key priorities for Lee Valley Regional Park Authority are:
