What does it then Involve?

You will be asked to come in for an informal discussion to talk about what you want to get out of the volunteering opportunity and what the role involves. Volunteering days and times will be agreed and an induction day arranged.

Induction

Your first day will involve a couple of hours with the member of staff who will be supervising you, going through the induction for volunteers and any specific training that is required. You will be given a volunteer handbook with lots of helpful information and contact numbers. Along with a designated supervisor and the volunteer manager the handbook is your support, you can also download a copy below.

You are then ready to start the volunteering role and start enjoying working in the Regional Park.
