Volunteer of the Year Award 2010

Terry Wilkins

The judges found several people with very close scores and only a couple of points separated them. The person with those extra couple of points stands out because of the impact that his dedication to Park has on so many different people across the Authority. Without the help, enthusiasm, good humour and knowledge of this person so many people throughout the Park would not be able to provide such a high level of quality experience to those who visit our sites and events. Combined with a passion for wildlife, in depth knowledge of the Park and his never ending energy, Terry has helped to continue to develop and improve the profile and offering of the Parks volunteer programme. Terry Wilkins is therefore a fitting winner of this years Lee Valley Volunteer of the Year,
