Lee Valley Camping & Caravan Park, Edmonton
Introduction
An ideal site for those who want to enjoy peace and quiet and visiting the sites within the Lee Valley Regional Park. Or alternatively ideal for those of you wishing to experience the excitement of visiting the various sites and attractions in Central London (The West End, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, Buckingham Palace etc.) are less than 40 minutes away. Just hop on the Victoria Line and you’re there. For a different kind of relaxation you’re no distance at all from Epping Forest, the 1,000-acre River Lee Country Park and historic Waltham Abbey. And an 18-hole golf course and 12-screen Odeon cinema are quite literally on your doorstep.
Special Features
The site has excellent facilities with an on site shop which is open from 9am to 8pm each day stocking all the essentials you may require for your stay as well as travel cards and maps to assist with your sightseeing. It also has a children’s play area and laundry facilities.
Dogs are permitted provided they are kept under control, on a lead and not left unattended.
Accessibility
Parking is available on the complex as well as designated disabled car parking spaces. The Campsite shop and site facilities are all easily accessible and adapted toilets and showers are also available for disabled visitors.
By car: leave the M25 at junction 25, follow signs for City. At the first set of Traffic lights turn left signposted to Freezywater. Continue straight along this road for approximately 6 miles (10 kms). Follow signs for Lee Valley Leisure Complex. After roundabout with flags, turn left at 2nd set of lights onto Complex. The campsite can be found to the rear of the Complex.
By train: The nearest rail stations are Ponders End (Monday-Friday 9am-5pm only) and Edmonton Green on the Liverpool Street line. Nearest underground station is Tottenham Hale on the Victoria Line.
By bus: London Transport W8 service runs to and from the Complex. W8 Services Edmonton Green station.
