An ideal holiday centre for those who want to mix the pleasures of the countryside with the excitement of visiting central London.

Please note: Sewardstone campsite is outside of the Low Emission Zone (LEZ). Please check the Transport for London website if you are planning a trip into London with a heavy vehicle.

The campsite is just a short walk from Epping Forest where there are many opportunities for walking and cycling. Also close by is the outstanding countryside of the River Lee Country Park.

A regular bus service takes you to Walthamstow Central Underground Station from which a frequent service takes you right into the centre of London. Travel cards are available so shopping and sightseeing couldn’t be easier.
 
The site has excellent facilities with an on-site shop and children’s play area. Pets are permitted provided they are kept under control and not left unattended.

Enjoy the best of both worlds at the Lee Valley Campsite, Sewardstone. See some of Britain’s rarest wildlife in the 1000 acre (400 hectare) River Lee Country Park, visit the historic town of Waltham Abbey with its Abbey ruins and gardens and reach central London is less than 40 minutes.

Accessibility

The campsite has good wheelchair access and also exclusive use of bathroom facilities which are fully DDA compliant.

How to get here
 
By car: The campsite is on the A112 between Chingford and Waltham Abbey to the South of the M25. Leave M25 at junction 26 and follow signs.

By bus: No.215, 379 & 505 services from Chingford.
Underground Station: Walthamstow Central
 
By underground: take the Victoria underground line from London going north .the underground stops at Walthamstow central. From here, catch the 215 bus.
