The Lee Valley Regional Park Rangers lead a guided walk around Seventy Acres Lake, Waltham Abbey on Boxing Day to walk off the indulgences from the day before.
Lapwing, Coot, Tufted ducks and Pintails were among the wildlife that were spotted and visitors warmed up afterwards with some festive refreshments.
Naomi Chant, Events Manager, Lee Valley Regional Park Authority said:
“It’s great to see so many people out enjoying the Park. Lee Valley Regional Park has a variety of wildlife and activities for people to enjoy. There are a number of pathways along rivers, through woodland and around lakes. The Park is a great place to get out in the fresh air, spot wildlife and get some exercise”.
