Baby animals capture the spirit of spring

Berkshire Piglets
Spring has sprung at the Lee Valley Park Farms with an abundance of spring babies being born.
Barbara the Berkshire Pig has given birth to four piglets, all of which are pedigree Berkshires. This means that the piglets can hopefully be sold to other farms to help maintain the status of this particular rare breed. The first-time mum and her new-borns are all doing well.
The pigs join other new arrivals to the Farms this spring, including ducklings, calves and lambs.
The Lee Valley Park Farms offers a great day out for all the family. As well as being home to a variety of different animals including pigs, goats, cows, rabbits, Lammas and our Pet Centre which houses small mammals and reptiles, you can also enjoy the adventure play area, gift shop and new Orchard Café.
Come and discover the world beneath your feet at the wormery and ant farm and get up close to the rabbits in Rabbit World. You can also adopt an animal and play with and milk our life-size dummy cow
A number of events will be taking place throughout the year such as Spring Term Holiday Fun, Teddy Bears Picnic and May Fete. The Farms are available for birthday parties too!
