Lee Valley Regional Park is London’s biggest open space.
Each of the events within the award winning Park takes place within its 10,000 acres, winding 26 miles along the banks of the River Lee in Hertfordshire, down through Essex and North London to the East India Dock Basin on the River Thames.
The Park is made up of a unique mix of regional sports centres, urban green spaces, heritage sites, country parks, farms and nature reserves providing an exceptional leisure experience for everyone. Whether it's athletics, golf, horse riding, ice skating, fishing, cycling, bird watching, campingor simply exploring the countryside, the Lee Valley Regional Park is a hidden gem just waiting to be discovered!

Enjoy an enchanting selection of popular classic works performed by The Bloomsbury String Quartet. Why not bring a picnic, a rug and a bottle of wine and relax in the beautiful Myddelton House Gardens in Enfield, close to London, taking in the diverse plant collection, beautiful carp lake, conservatory and rock garden. The Gardens are also home to a National Collection of Dyke Medal winning Iris (the highest award that is given to Iris).

Rye House Gatehouse Heritage Open Days

Enjoy free entry to this historic Grade I listed building and discover its amazing history and architecture. Rye House Gatehouse was one of the first brick built buildings in the country and played host to an unsuccessful assassination attempt on King Charles II. Petunia’s Pick of the Month – Scarecrow Making

Join the Lee Valley Park Farms mascot, Petunia the Pig and meet all the animals - from pigs to goats, llamas to lambs, giant rabbits to chinchillas. Lee Valley Regional Park stretches 26 miles along the River Lee from Ware in Hertfordshire to East India Dock Basin on the Thames. The Park’s 10,000 acres comprise a diverse mix of heritage sites, nature reserves and open green spaces alongside world class sports facilities, attracting over 4 million visitors every year.
Lee Valley Regional Park is playing an active part in the London 2012 Games. The Lee Valley White Water Centre (just north of the M25, near Waltham Cross, Hertfordshire) and the VeloPark and Hockey and Tennis Centres in Olympic Park will be owned, managed and funded by Lee Valley Regional Park in legacy. They join our existing sports facilities which include Lee Valley’s Athletics Centre, Riding Centre and Ice Centre to create a chain of sporting excellence across the region.
