The foundation to Lee Valley Regional Park Authority’s commitment towards quality is summarised in the corporate aims, principles, ten year vision, mission statement, critical success factors and values.

Aim

The primary purpose of quality assurance is to ensure customers receive the highest quality of service by measuring ourselves against defined standards. Equally important is the maintenance of these standards to help deliver a quality service to an increasingly diverse customer base.  Lee Valley Regional Park Authority’s objective is to meet and exceed the needs and expectations of customers.

Our commitment

The Authority has a commitment to achieving external awards and accreditations to demonstrate commitment to delivering a quality service. The Authority has designed and implemented a Quality Management System that supports all Authority operations. The system is audited and reviewed periodically to ensure the best possible service is delivered.

Quest defines industry standards and good practice and encourages their ongoing development and delivery within a customer focused management framework.

 

We currently hold accreditations for:

  • Lee Valley Athletics Centre - Very Good (2024 assessment and 2025 review)

  • Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre - Excellent (2023 assessment and 2024 review)

  • Lee Valley Ice Centre - Excellent (2025 assessment)

  • Lee Valley Riding Centre - Excellent (2022 assessment)

  • Lee Valley VeloPark - Excellent (2025 assessment)

  • Lee Valley White Water Centre - Excellent (2025 assessment)

Green Flag
and Green Heritage

Green Flag and Green Heritage awards are the national standard for parks and green spaces in England and Wales.

 

We currently hold Green Flag Awards for:

  • Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park
