Are you passionate about creating exceptional guest experiences and leading a dynamic team? Myddelton House Gardens is looking for an enthusiastic Catering Duty Manager to take charge of our charming Bowles Tea Room and help us deliver unforgettable moments for every visitor.
This is more than a job; it’s an opportunity to shape the visitor experience, drive revenue through creativity, and lead from the front in one of North London’s most beautiful heritage settings.
What you’ll do
Oversee day-to-day operations of the tea room, ensuring smooth service and impeccable standards
Inspire and train your team to deliver outstanding hospitality
Act as a hands-on leader; Barista, till Operator and problem-solver when needed
Implement H&S and food hygiene standards with confidence
Collaborate on an annual catering strategy that maximises seasonal opportunities like Easter and other key events
Work closely with the Myddelton House team to grow visitor numbers and enhance the venue’s reputation
What we’re looking for
A natural leader with experience in catering or hospitality management
Strong customer service skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of food safety, allergens and H&S regulations
Someone who loves variety as no two days are the same!
