The Authority collects and uses certain types of information about people with whom it deals in order to operate. This includes current, past and prospective employees, suppliers, clients and customers and others with whom we communicate.

In addition, we may be occasionally required by law to collect and use such information to comply with government legal compliance and regulatory bodies.

 
General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR)

Personal data must be dealt with properly however it is collected, recorded and used, whether on paper, in a computer or recorded on other formats - and there are safeguards to ensure this in the GDPR.

 

The Authority regards the lawful and correct treatment of personal information as very important to its successful operations and to maintaining confidence between the Authority and those with whom it carries out business. The Authority will ensure that it treats personal information lawfully and correctly.

 

How do I find out about the information you hold about me personally?

Individuals have a right to access or request a copy of the information the Authority holds about them under the GDPR.
 
If you wish to find out about personal information the Authority holds about you, you can do so by making a Subject Access Request under the GDPR. You will not have to pay a fee to access your personal data. Please read our Privacy Notice
