Have your say on our new Environment Policy

Deadline for comments 17:00 on 31 July 2022.

Lee Valley Regional Park Authority operates and manages a wide range of open spaces, venues and activities – many of which contribute to a range of positive environmental outcomes. However, as with all organisations, our carbon emissions could be reduced and our  environmental performance could be improved.  We want  to be an Environmental Champion   and are committed to reducing the Authority’s carbon footprint, increasing the park’s resilience to climate change and maximising the environmental potential of the 10,000 acre “green lung” which is Lee Valley Regional Park.

Lee Valley Regional Park Authority recognises the current climate crisis and will constantly review its performance in this area.

The start of this process has been to draft an Environment Policy which will act as an overarching document to a detailed strategy which will include an action plan that will set out the areas we seek to improve. The strategy will act as a working document and will develop as new technologies become available.

We are now happy to receive comments on our proposed draft Environment Policy which you can read here.

We require comments back by 31 July. There's three different way to submit you comments
